This monograph is one of a series focusing on psychosocial problems of children and adolescents. The writing style is crisp and unexpectedly (for psychosocial literature) free from jargon and redundant phrases. The approach is evidence-based, though the authors do acknowledge the methodological weakness of much adoption outcome research.
